Optimization of the corporate relationship between Jacques’ Wein-Depot and Hawesko Holding AG; among other things, this resulted in a 60% increase in the consolidated result; over EUR 100 million in sales in the wholesale segment; launch of the wine club "VinoSelect" in the mail order segment

Group sales exceed the 300-million-euro mark; Château Classic adapts its business model to the Internet and enjoys strong demand for Bordeaux wines

Best year in the history of the Company. Sales EUR 339 million, operating result (EBIT) EUR 25.5 million. Once again strong gains of new customers in mail order and at Jacques’.

2009
Despite the economic crisis, sales were maintained at the prior-year level. Development is split in two: robust in the business with end-consumers in the specialist retail segment (Jacques' Wein-Depot) and in the mail order segment (Hanseatisches Wein- und Sekt-Kontor), but sluggish in the wholesale segment. EBIT reached EUR 22.4 million and is the second-highest in the history of the company.

2010
A vintage financial year: the Hawesko Group, sales up 11.6% to EUR 378 million, performed even better than originally expected. It profited in particular from the recovery in business outside Germany for older vintages of high-quality Bordeaux wines, and from the economic upturn domestically. EBIT, at EUR 25.7 million, achieved the highest ever level in the history of the company.
